Root Canal Treatment Reviews in Türkiye

This is my very honest review the good the bad the ugly. I initially contacted Dentakay because my teeth really knocked my confidence so wanted treatment done. I asked them for a quote sent photos etc they contacted me with estimated prices at the time of the call I didn’t have all the funds available which I explained to them they fully understood they did call me again a little while after to check how things were going once I explained I would contact them once I had raised all the funds they left me too it. Once I had the funds they organised everything for me. I took my brother along for support but there is a cost of taking someone with you so do bare that in mind this isn’t part of the quote. We stayed in Istanbul the hotel was fine but there is nothing around in this area so if you’re wanting a holiday with your treatment this is not what you’ll get. Yes there is a lot of waiting around for appointments and sometimes the taxi is late etc but for me this wasn’t an issue a taxi can be late in the UK so there’s no difference just because your abroad. The cost: I went in for my first appointment check up scan etc and had my consultation my consultant Edrick was fantastic yes there was an extra cost after I had my X-rays and scans and there were underlying issues which I wasn’t aware of so the extra cost was a shock and I wasn’t sure I would be able to continue with my treatment so initially I was devastated I spoke with Edrick and explained my situation and laid my cards on the table. I never felt pressured into going ahead and they worked with me and my budget to help me get the best possible outcome within my budget. I decided to go ahead with the treatment and I’m so glad I did don’t get me wrong the next 4/5 days were awful being prodded and poked teeth removed root canals and bone grafts I was swollen and sore but I knew the end goal was worth it. I’m now back in the UK with some of my permanent teeth already fitted and will return within the next 3-6 months for the final treatment. And the last of my teeth fitted once everything in my mouth is all healed. I was told before I left that the travel and accommodation is not fully paid for on the second trip which was another shocked as that is an extra cost that I wasn’t aware of but they do make all this clear when you first go and you agree to treatment. But the way I see it is this whole trip and treatment including the extras wouldn’t be affordable for me in the UK but now I’m hope with a nice smile and pain free for the first time in years. All round great service. Well organised with pick up for appointments, friendly staff and great results. I was very worried about getting my wisdom tooth out and root canal after my last bad dentist but they made me feel at ease here and there was no pain at all. Highly recommend.

I had a friend who went and received dental work from Turkeyana a few months ago. After his check up at his regular dentist here in the United States, he has now found out that they did everything incorrectly and have to redo multiple root canals that are going to cost thousands. Now not only is he out of money that he paid to Turkeyana for the procedure that wasn't correct, but he will now be out even more because he has to redo all the procedures again. Root canal's are not an easy procedure to do, let alone twice in just a few months. Now the other problem is they do not even acknowledge that he was even a patient at the clinic nor have they given a refund for the botched procedure. He is in the process of taking legal action against them for not completing the procedures correctly and for only caring about getting money.
