Deposit before video call?

I would ask for the refund terms in writing first. Not just on WhatsApp voice note.

For me the deposit came after they looked at my scan and after the video call. Maybe every clinic is different, but paying before any real review would make me pause.

I paid a small deposit but only after they sent a written treatment plan, hotel details, transfer info, and what was not included. The useful thing was asking, “If I arrive and the plan changes, what happens to the price?” Their answer told me a lot.
