Breast reduction recovery worries after flying home too soon last time

This is maybe more of a vent than a question. I am researching Breast Reduction abroad and I keep getting stuck on the recovery part. I had a different surgery years ago in my home country and I remember thinking I was fine, then crying in the car two days later because everything felt too much. So now when clinics say “you can fly after X days” I know that does not mean I will feel normal. My timeline so far: - I want surgery around late April because work is quieter. - I can take 2 weeks off, maybe 3 if I explain it carefully. - My partner can travel with me but only for 7 days. - I would need to fly back to the UK and then manage stairs at home. One clinic gave a very detailed quote and explained hotel, blood tests, garment, check-ups before flight. Another clinic was cheaper but mostly sent voice notes and I cannot easily compare. I asked both what happens if I have concerns after I return, and one said WhatsApp with nurse, one just said “no problem, we follow you.” I am not asking if I should do it, I know nobody can decide for me. I guess I want to know what made you feel the aftercare plan was solid enough. Did you ask for a named contact? Did you share photos after getting home? I feel a bit embarrassed asking many questions, but also this is not buying shoes.
