February blepharoplasty with my sister

I am planning blepharoplasty in February and my sister may travel with me, mostly because I get anxious with airports and appointments. I have not booked yet. Two clinics sent very similar prices, but the aftercare details are different. One says hotel is 10 minutes from the clinic and they check you the next day. The other has a nicer hotel but only says “doctor will see you if needed.” Maybe I am overthinking the wording, but I want to know exactly where I need to be and when. People who travelled for this, did having a companion actually help, or was it just extra cost?

My sister came and honestly it helped more emotionally than physically. She remembered small things from the consultation that I forgot because I was nervous. Also she handled the taxi app and food when I just wanted to rest.

I went alone. It was okay, but I chose the closer hotel on purpose.

I would ask for an actual schedule, not just general words. Like appointment day, check-up day, who messages you on WhatsApp. It is not being difficult, it is normal planning.

Nice hotel is not very useful if you need long taxi every time. This was my lesson.
