Dr. Fatma Demirel

Prof. Dr. Fatma Demirel is a pediatrician and pediatric endocrinologist. She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. She completed her pediatrics residency at Haseki Training and Research Hospital in 1996. She completed her pediatric endocrinology subspeciality training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. During his thirty-year career, he has treated thousands of patients and trained many pediatricians. He has over 150 articles published in national and international scientific journals. She also wrote chapters on adrenal insufficiency, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and neonatal thyroid diseases. Areas of interest; growth and development retardation in children, short stature, precocious puberty, obesity, thyroid diseases, polycystic ovary syndrome, adrenal gland diseases, pituitary gland hormone diseases, rickets, vitamin D deficiency and diabetes. She is fluent in English.
