Prof. Dr. Aydın Ece

Prof. Dr. Aydın Ece is a specialist in pediatrics and pediatric rheumatology and nephrology. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1984. He completed his residency training at Dr Sami Ulus Child Health and Diseases Training and Research Hospital in 1991. He started his academic career at Celal Bayar University and continued at Dicle University. During his forty-year career, he treated thousands of patients and trained hundreds of doctors and pediatricians. He has published over 100 scientific articles in national and international academic journals and has written many book chapters. Clinical interests; kidney and urinary tract diseases in children, hypertension, joint pain and swelling, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, recurrent fever, PFAPA syndrome, FMF, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, Behçet's disease and spondyloatrophies. He is fluent in English.
