Prof. Dr. Fuat Tosun

Prof. Dr. Fuat Tosun is an otorhinolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon. He graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) in 1989. He completed his residency training in otorhinolaryngology in 1995. He trained in anterior skull base and advanced endoscopic sinus surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, USA in 1999. He has more than 100 scientific publications at international and national journals and authorship of book chapters in many articles. He wrote a scientific book called Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgery Atlas. He has two patents in his field, inflatable hemostatic nasal and sinus tampons. In his 30 years of professional life, he has successfully performed numerous otolaryngological surgeries and trained many otolaryngologists. Clinical and surgical interests; endoscopic sinus surgery, middle ear surgery, thyroid surgery, neck masses and surgery, salivary gland surgeries, septorhinoplasty, tonsil and adenoid surgeries. He is fluent in English.
