Anyone went alone?

I traveled alone too. Please make sure you can rest between appointments and not book sightseeing every free hour. Also ask if the clinic can call a taxi for you after longer visits. Small things like that helped me feel less stranded in a new city.

I went alone for dental bridges and it was manageable, but I planned it like a work trip. I checked the hotel was close enough for early appointments, saved the driver’s number, and kept all clinic messages in one WhatsApp chat. The hardest part was not the treatment days, it was making decisions without someone beside me, so I asked for written options before agreeing.

My checklist for going alone: airport pickup confirmed, hotel address, clinic address, translator name, appointment schedule, payment stages, temporary bridge plan, and follow-up contact after returning home. I also told one friend my itinerary and shared live location during transfers. It made the trip feel less chaotic.
