Arm lift in September, worried about travelling home with drains and luggage

I am researching Arm Lift for September and I keep getting stuck on the boring practical parts. The surgery itself is scary, yes, but what I really keep thinking about is airport day after. I will probably travel with my sister but she can only stay 5 nights because of work. One clinic says 4 nights is enough, another says better 7 nights. One mentioned drains maybe, one did not mention at all until I asked. I know everyone heals different and the surgeon decides, but I want to choose a clinic that plans realistically, not just makes the trip sound easy. Things I am asking now: - how many in-person checks before flight - who helps if swelling worries me at hotel - is hotel walking distance or do they drive me - can my sister come to appointments - what happens if flight should be moved one or two days If anyone did arm lift abroad, did you regret short stay? I am not looking for medical advice, more like how you handled clothes, bags, sleeping, and not panicking in hotel room.
