I felt safer after landing than before. The driver had my name, translator messaged on WhatsApp, and the hotel knew the clinic schedule. Not perfect, but practical things were arranged.

For my beard transplant trip, the glossy photos did not help me decide much. What helped was asking who would contact me when I arrived, where I should go the next morning, and whether someone would answer after I returned home. One clinic only sent emojis and “no problem sir,” so I skipped it. The one I chose sent a simple timetable with airport transfer, hotel address, translator name, and check-up time. That made the travel feel less strange.

I went alone and was scared too. What helped was saving every contact before the flight: driver, coordinator, hotel address, and clinic location. The medical part is separate, but for travel I felt less lost once I had names and timings written down.
