How much support did you get after flying home?

I am planning from abroad and trying not to rush this. The travel part feels easy, but choosing a clinic for LASIK Eye Surgery is a lot. Did anyone make a checklist that actually helped, or did you just go with the team that felt most responsive? My main takeaway so far: the practical details mattered more than the glossy before/after photos.

I made a spreadsheet but honestly the notes after each call were more useful. If a clinic made me feel rushed, I removed it.

I travelled alone and it was manageable, but I wish I stayed one extra day. The hotel being close to the clinic mattered more than I expected.

For me the quote was less important than the plan. I wanted to know who I would meet, which tests were included, and what would happen if swelling or pain felt unusual after flying home.
