Question EN Afro-Hair FUE Transplantation Clinic selection

Afro hair FUE clinic selection with my brother coming along in June

nervousbeforeflight
I have been reading for months about Afro-Hair FUE Transplantation and honestly my brain is tired now. I am from the UK, planning maybe June, and my brother said he can come with me for 3 days. I thought that would make me calmer but now I feel pressure to decide because he needs book leave from work. My main worry is not only price. Some clinics answer very fast and send nice before after photos, but I cannot always tell if the hair type is similar to mine. One coordinator said they do Afro hair “every week” but did not send many examples. Another clinic asked for videos of donor area and front hairline in daylight, which felt a bit much at first, but maybe more serious? I also asked about airport transfer and hotel distance because I do not want to be walking around confused after the procedure. One clinic includes 2 nights hotel, another says I should book my own place near them. My brother says choose the clinic that explains limits, not the one promising perfect density. I think he is right, but I keep second guessing. If you travelled with someone, did they actually help after the procedure or was it mostly just moral support? Also did you pay deposit only after a video call, or is WhatsApp photo review normal enough?

My cousin came with me and the biggest help was practical stuff: finding the driver, buying water, keeping track of appointment times. Not medical, just being another brain when I was tired.

I did not do Afro hair, but for DHI I waited until they gave a range, not a fixed miracle number. The clinic that asked for clearer photos was actually the one I trusted more. Fast replies are nice but specific questions are better.
