Experience Gastric Balloon Travel

Anyone went alone?

implantBudget
I wrote down my questions last night and realised most of them are not medical questions, they are planning questions. For Gastric Balloon, I am trying to understand who I actually talk to after I land, whether the hotel is close enough if I feel tired, and what happens after I fly home. One clinic sent a clean PDF but avoided the follow-up part. Another clinic sent messy WhatsApp voice notes but answered every small question. I am not sure which one should make me more confident.

I went alone for a gastric balloon trip and the hardest part was not the appointment, it was feeling unsure in the hotel after. What helped me was a clinic coordinator who answered WhatsApp quickly and a hotel close enough for short taxi rides. I also saved the clinic address, driver number, and my embassy contact before flying. Maybe over-prepared, but it made me calmer.

I went alone for another treatment and made a small hotel plan before flying: closest market, pharmacy, taxi app, and clinic address saved offline. It sounds basic but it stopped me feeling lost the first evening.
