I went with my cousin and honestly the best help was just having someone carry bags. I also chose an aisle seat on the return flight because I did not want people brushing past me too much. Ask the clinic exactly what time they pick you up the next morning, because waiting in the lobby while anxious is not fun.
Take snacks you actually like. My hotel breakfast was fine but I was too tired to decide anything.
