For my beard transplant research, the 5 minute reply was mostly sales talk. The next day answer had donor area limits, schedule, who does the procedure, and aftercare timeline. Slow is not automatically better, but detailed felt safer to me.
I think compare how they answer when you ask uncomfortable questions. One clinic was quick until I asked about photos of similar beard cases and who I meet on arrival, then they became vague. Another was slower but consistent. That was a bigger sign than speed.
