Experience DHI Hair Transplantation After treatment

DHI hair transplant after flying home, what follow-up felt realistic

nervousbeforeflight
Quick background because I was reading old threads here for months. I had DHI Hair Transplantation planned from the UK and flew to Istanbul on a Monday evening. Consultation was Tuesday, procedure Wednesday, check-up Thursday, and I flew back Friday night. I know some people stay longer, but work was difficult for me. The actual travel part was okay but more tiring than I expected. The hotel was 10 minutes by car from the clinic, not really walkable because of traffic. The translator was there for clinic visits but not at the hotel, so I used WhatsApp for small questions. They answered fast the first two days, then slower after I came home, usually next day. I am not worried, just sharing because I thought follow-up would be like instant chat every time. It was more like send photos, wait, get short reassurance. If you are anxious person like me, maybe ask before booking who replies after you fly home and what hours they answer. I also wish I had brought a button-up shirt for the airport. Small thing but it made the day less annoying.

The button-up shirt comment is actually useful. I keep forgetting practical clothes.

Same feeling about WhatsApp follow-up. Mine was not bad, but it was not instant either. I think clinics should explain normal reply times before people travel.

Did they give you a written aftercare sheet or mostly voice notes? I am trying to avoid losing important info in chat messages.

I stayed one extra night after my procedure and I was glad. Not because something dramatic happened, just because airports are stressful when you are tired and trying not to bump your head. If someone is already anxious, the extra night can be worth budgeting for.
