Question Gastric Balloon Clinic selection

Gastric Balloon: what was the first week actually like?

tryingToBeCalm
Maybe this helps someone else too. I am not choosing based on the cheapest offer anymore. At first I was comparing Gastric Balloon like it was one fixed package, but every clinic seems to include different things. One quote includes two nights, one includes five. One says medication is included but not extra checks. One says the doctor will decide final details in person, which might be normal, but it also makes budgeting harder. I would rather pay a little more and know exactly what is included than arrive and keep hearing that small things are extra.

I disagree a little with choosing only the package with the most nights. More nights can be good, but I cared more about where the hotel was and whether the clinic actually expected to see me again before flying. One quote offered five nights but the hotel was far from everything. Another offered fewer nights but clearer follow-up and a coordinator who answered normal questions without pushing me to pay immediately.

First week for me was not a holiday feeling, so I was happy I booked extra nights near the clinic. I would check whether the package includes review appointments, medication costs, hotel changes if needed, and a human contact after you leave Türkiye. Small extras can add up fast when you are tired.
