Question EN Arm Lift Recovery

Is hotel recovery alone realistic after arm lift?

Ireland patient
I’m at the research stage for Arm Lift, probably autumn if I go ahead. I live in Ireland and my sister may not be able to travel with me because of work. One coordinator said many patients come alone and it is “no problem”, but that sounds a bit too easy. My questions are more practical than medical. Could you manage the airport, suitcase, showering, opening doors, getting food delivered, and going back for check-up without a companion? I know everyone recovers differently, I just want honest patient logistics. The hotel in the package is 10 minutes by car from the clinic, and they say transfer is included for appointments but not for random errands. I can maybe pay for one extra hotel night if that helps. I also wonder whether flying home on day 5 is too rushed from a comfort point of view, not asking for permission, just what it felt like for others.

I would not plan heavy suitcase alone. Even if you feel ok, it is awkward.

I went for a different body surgery, not arm lift, but my biggest lesson was to pack like you have only one hand free. Zip bags, easy clothes, no laptop bag plus suitcase combo. Also ask the hotel if room service is real or only breakfast.
