June DHI plan, nervous about deposit

I am looking at DHI Hair Transplantation for late June and have two clinics answering on WhatsApp. One asks for a deposit now to hold the surgery day, the other says I can decide after video call but their quote is higher. I am not asking which clinic is best, just how people handled the deposit part when travelling to Turkey. Did you wait until flights were booked? I feel ok with paying something small but I get nervous when the coordinator is very friendly and then suddenly pushes for payment the same day.

I paid only after they sent the written package and cancellation terms. Not just a WhatsApp voice note.

For me the deposit was not the issue, the pressure was. I asked them to email the same details: hotel nights, airport transfer, blood test, translator, and what happens if my flight changes. The clinic that answered calmly made me feel safer.

I booked flights first because prices were moving. But I used a flexible ticket, just in case.
