This is exactly why I stopped looking only at the headline price for gastric sleeve. Blood tests, cardiology check, hospital stay, hotel nights, translator, and airport rides were all included differently. One coordinator was very friendly but could not explain follow-up beyond “we message you.” That made me hesitate.
A higher quote can still be too high, so I would not assume expensive means better. But you are right that the first number is not enough. I asked each clinic to send a day-by-day schedule and what happens if the flight is delayed or if an extra night is needed. The answers showed a lot about how prepared they were.
